Helen is a secondary instructor, trainer of jockeys, and a former professional racer. They were both passionate about horses, race meetings and racing. When she was a child, Bea was an instructor for the Irish National Stud however she knew from a young age that she was not keen on the sport of racing as a career and instead enjoyed performing.
